In a widely anticipated move, the Bethpage, N.Y.-based company said the unit will be spun off to existing shareholders by the end of the year. The Dolan family, which controls Cablevision through a special class of shares, will retain control of the new company. More here.

Any offer of 'tickets at cost' is exactly that -- I have season tickets and will sell them for what I paid --- so no mark-ups.
The Dark Ranger is a not-for-profit site, not officially, but we derive no income at all from anything on this site; in fact, DARK at his own expense enjoys the freedom of having no sponsors and speaking his f*cking mind.
Rangers to miss the playoffs!
ReplyDeleteA concerned fan wonders with 5 of the top 6 point leaders last season traded or unsigned, who will put points on the board this season?
Gaborik is great and one of the top 5 skilled players in the league when healty. I predict 65 games played with a 40 goal 30 assist numbers. Rangers fans will once again wonder "what if?"
Dubinsky is a solid second line center in the making who should be traded immediately for a shot a Heatley.
Another option would be to dangle him and Stall to Toronto for Kaberle then flip to Boston/SJ for various players. Kessel and Gaborik could be an amazing 1-2 punch for years! Redden will bounce back this year and play well. His contract numbers will dictate more but he will be a solid top 4.
Matt Lashoff is a player who the Rangers should but an offer on. It would cost some draft picks in compensation but he could step into the lineup and is affordable. Matt is a former first round pick of the Bruins who could be stolen from the Lightning as the owners continue to fight.
Best of luck this season.
